Electrician - supporting the USAF Fighter Aircraft Ground Facilities electrical 480/270VDC maintenance effort through operational knowledge of Electrical power inversion and/or commercial/industrial connectivity by completing preventive maintenance and repair.
Performs assigned preventative maintenance work according to USAF scope of work standards ensuring all instructions are followed and that each step is fully.
Demonstrates ability to follow procedures and to conduct electrical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance on 270 VDC power displays.
Responds promptly to troubleshooting calls; diagnoses the failure; makes required repairs.
Adheres to safety standards by promoting a safe work environment and verifying all safety concerns are addressed.
May be required to work flexible schedules, with a monthly tour not exceed 40hrs.
Place orders through vendors and insure delivery to client and schedule installation.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Trade school required, prefer Military background in Electric shop maintenance; must have in depth experience in electrical, electronic or maintenance engineering technology is preferred.
Experience required, 5 years of three phase electrical maintenance experience, to include commercial/electrical experience with 270VDC inverters. Related military technical experience in electrical trades will be considered equivalent.
